# Read the billing page

Four tiles at the top answer the four questions that bring you to this page: when, how much, with what, and how the contract stands. Below them are four tabs. Read the tables on this page as a reference, since each one describes one area of the page.

> **Type:** reference
> **For:** Owners and Managers who keep an eye on the contract of their organization.
> **Prerequisite:** **Owner** or **Manager** role
> **Where in the portal:** **Billing**

## Who sees the page

| Role | What they see |
|---|---|
| **Owner** | the entire page with all four tabs and the order |
| **Manager** | the tabs **Contract**, **Payment**, and **Players**. On the **Payment** tab, the list of payment methods is missing, and the **Invoices** tab does not appear at all. |
| **Member** | not the **Billing** entry. Opening the page directly ends on the explanation page “No access to **Billing**”. |

For a change that your role is not allowed to make, the button shows this note: “This change is reserved for owners.”

## The header: customer number and four tiles

Above the tiles are your **Customer number** and the one action **Change contract**.

| Tile | What is at the top | What is in the footer |
|---|---|---|
| **Next payment** | the due date. If a cancellation is scheduled, the tile is called **Final payment**. | “in 12 days”, “due today”, “overdue by 5 days”, or “No payment is due right now.” |
| **Amount** | the gross amount | the same amount net with the tax rate, “net plus 19 % VAT”, with several amounts due “2 open invoices”, and, when nothing is due, “Nothing open” |
| **Payment way** | **Card •••• 4242**, **SEPA •••• 1234**, **Purchase on account**, or **Missing** | “Next charge on October 1, 2026”, “Your default payment method”, “Payment term 14 days”, or “Payable on receipt of invoice” |
| **Status** | one word, see the table below | “Pro · 5 displays · monthly”, and below it the one date of this status |

If a payment method is missing, **the Payment way tile is the button**: It then shows **Add one now** and opens the sheet for adding one. At the foot of the page is the rule for all the figures above: “All prices are net plus 19 % VAT. The amount on the invoice applies.”

## The status values

Only the **Status** tile has a signal color. It always shows the highest-ranking applicable status, in this order.

| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| **Access suspended** | Access is on hold because a payment has remained outstanding. |
| **Frozen** | Changes are locked. The displays keep running. |
| **Reminder 1** | An overdue notice is running. The level is the number after the word. |
| **Invoice overdue** | An issued invoice has not been settled. |
| **Payment failed** | The charge was returned. |
| **Cancellation scheduled** | The contract ends at the end of the paid period. |
| **Trial** | The free trial is still running. |
| **Active** | Everything is running. Nothing needs to be done. |

What happens when with an overdue notice, a freeze, or a suspension is explained in [Payment reminders, overdue notices, freezing, suspension](/docs/billing/overdue-payments).

## Where each date appears

Each date is where you would look for it, and only one per place.

| Date | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| Next payment, next charge | Tile **Next payment**, with “in 12 days”. If the payment is overdue, the tile counts backward. |
| End of trial, grace period, effect of cancellation | Footer of the **Status** tile: “Trial ends September 18, 2026”, “Grace period ends September 4, 2026”, or “Contract ends September 30, 2026” |
| Current period, **Next invoice on**, **Cancellation** | **Contract** tab |
| Every warning with a date | the notice above the page |

The page mentions freezing and suspension **only** when a payment is overdue and a grace period is running. If a deadline has passed, the footer says so too: “Grace period ended September 4, 2026”.

## The four tabs

Each tab has its own address, `?reiter=vertrag` and so on. You can share and bookmark them.

| Tab | What it contains |
|---|---|
| **Contract** | Package, billing period, current period, cancellation, and booked displays. On the right is the preview **Next invoice**, and at the bottom **Cancel contract** or **Withdraw cancellation**. |
| **Payment** | a sentence on how payment is made, the list **Payment methods** with **Make default** and **Remove**, the button **Add payment method**, and below it the **Invoice profile** with **Change** |
| **Invoices** | invoices and credit notes with the filters **All**, **Open**, **Overdue**, **Reminded**, **Paid**, **Credit note**, and **Voided** |
| **Players** | the models with **Model**, **Price**, **Status**, and **Action**, plus **Your registered interests** and **Your orders and registered interests** |

## The Contract tab, line by line

| Line | What it says |
|---|---|
| **Package** | the name, with the cap as “Pro · up to 20 displays”, without an assignment “no package assigned” |
| **Billing period** | “monthly” or “yearly · … % off compared with monthly payment”. Your contract supplies the rate. |
| **Current period** | the span from start to end |
| **Next invoice on** | the date, otherwise “none scheduled” or “not scheduled yet” |
| **Cancellation** | “none scheduled” or “effective September 30, 2026” |
| **Scheduled** | a scheduled change as “Premium from October 1, 2026” |
| **Displays** | “3 of 5 booked displays paired”, and below it “At least 5 in the Premium package.” With an excess, it says instead “5 paired · 4 booked — 1 above your booking”. |

## The preview “Next invoice”

On the right of the **Contract** tab is what the next period will cost. The box shows the line “Preview · as of September 8, 2026”, and with a known date “Preview of September 8, 2026 · invoice on October 1, 2026”.

| Line | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Items | per line, quantity × net unit price, where applicable with “Special rate until December 31, 2026” |
| **Subtotal net** | the sum of the items without tax |
| **VAT 19 % on …** | the tax amount. With reverse charge, it is **Reverse charge 0 % on …** instead. If the rate is not yet set, the line says “VAT — rate follows your invoice profile”. |
| **Total incl. VAT** | the amount that is paid |
| **Credit — offset against your next invoice** | a credit from a reduction that is offset |

The box is a preview, not an invoice. Instead of the preview, one of these sentences appears depending on the situation: “We will not issue another invoice. Your contract ends on September 30, 2026.”, “We issue the next invoice as soon as the open one is settled.”, or “No preview is available for the next period yet.”

## Notices above the page

If an agreed special rate expires, the page shows “Your special rate is ending.” with “From January 1, 2027 we bill at the list price.” and the link **Go to billing**. On the **Contract** tab, the same information appears as a sentence: “A special rate applies to you until December 31, 2026. After that the list price applies.”

If part of the page cannot be loaded, the area names exactly that part: “The contract could not be loaded.”, “The documents could not be loaded.”, or “The invoice profile could not be loaded.” The area also shows the sentence “Your contract and your next payment are unaffected.” and **Try again**.
