Before you start
- For
- everyone who decides which package their organization needs
- Prerequisite
- Billing is visible to anyone who is an Owner or Manager. The trial counter appears in the header for everyone.
- Where in the portal
- Billing › Contract
Every new organization starts in a trial and then grows into a package. Four packages are available. Below, you find what each one commits to, how the trial ends, and how to recognize a package limit in the portal.
Read the trial first if your organization is new, otherwise go straight to the package tables. The last section explains the marks that appear at locked places in the portal.
The trial: 30 days
Every new organization starts with a 30-day trial: one display in the Pro package, free of charge, with no payment method on file.
- In the header, the counter Trial · 21 days left runs along, and on the dashboard it says 21 days left in your free trial.
- The trial ends on its own — no cancellation, no notice period.
- Prepayment applies: “We only charge once the trial ends — and only with a payment method on file.”
- Only this starting allotment is free. Anything beyond the one display is charged at the regular price.
- What you book during the trial is paid immediately. For that, you need a payment method and a maintained invoice profile.
- A package change ends the trial. Billing starts from the day of the change.
In the order, the portal says it beforehand: “Your trial runs for 12 more days, until September 30, 2026. This order starts the paid contract immediately.” If the change ends the trial, it says “Your trial ends with this order — 12 days left. Billing starts today.”
What happens at the end of the trial
We remind you seven days and one day before the trial ends.
| Situation at the end of the trial | What follows |
|---|---|
| A payment method is on file | Everything keeps running without interruption. |
| No payment method on file | The account is frozen: The displays keep playing, but changes are possible again only after a payment method is added. |
| 14 more days without a payment method | Access is on hold. |
As long as nothing is on file, a band appears above Billing with “No payment method yet.” and the sentence “Free until September 30, 2026. To keep everything running afterwards, add a payment method by then.” plus the button Add payment method.
What the four packages commit to
The portal lists three features per package.
| Package | Features |
|---|---|
| Starter | Full HD · Scenes, playlists, schedules · Two members |
| Pro | 4K, two displays per player · Templates, roles and permissions · Pro apps |
| Premium | API and webhooks · Company sign-in, audit log · Your own address |
| Enterprise | “We agree Enterprise with you personally.” |
As for resolution: Full HD is the default, and both player models output up to 4K. The Player Pro plays video in 4K. 4K is unlocked from the Pro package up.
Your own brand and your own address are package commitments too, each with its own limit: You unlock your own brand from the Pro package (lock From Pro), and your own address from Premium (lock From Premium). What is already stored stays and keeps working. Only creating something new is locked.
How far back you can look
The history in Analytics and the retention of screenshots are commitments of the package.
| Package | History in Analytics | Screenshots |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | no history — the last seven days are still available for viewing | 1 day |
| Pro | 7 days | 7 days |
| Premium | 30 days | 30 days |
| Enterprise | 90 days | 90 days |
Without a history commitment, the overview, the grid, and the rankings of Analytics show the last seven days, while the day of a display and the details of a piece of content carry a lock: History from the Pro package. If you request a longer period than your package commits to, Analytics shortens it and says so: “Your package reaches back 7 days. The period has been shortened to that.” Screenshots that a proof has taken over as a sample are retained with the proof, regardless of the package.
The Playback timeline in a display’s record has its own limit:
| Package | Days recorded in the timeline |
|---|---|
| Starter | none — past days are not recorded |
| Pro | 7 days |
| Premium | 30 days |
You can always page forward: Upcoming days are calculated, not recorded.
Advertising and proofs
| Feature | Package |
|---|---|
| Your own advertisers, ad campaigns, and creatives, the Direct business | from Premium. Without it, Your own advertisers and ad campaigns are available from the Premium package. appears there. |
| Proofs for direct business, links for advertisers | from Premium |
| Participation in the ad network, ad space, and audience | in every package |
| Measurement and proof of a booking of the ad network | in every package, in full |
If you switch to a smaller package, existing items stay readable and can be paused. You can then no longer add new advertisers, ad campaigns, or approvals. An issued proof remains available for ten years. More on this: What is retail media?
Apps and their classes
Every app belongs to a class, and the class decides whether your package includes it.
| Class | Meaning | In the store, if your package does not include it |
|---|---|---|
| Base class, no mark | Included in every package. | Does not apply, the store shows In your package. |
| Pro | Included from the Pro package. | From Pro |
| Add-on | Booked in addition in any package for its own monthly price. | + … net per month with the price |
If you switch to a smaller package, an app that is already installed is not removed. It then shows Not in your package: Settings and data are kept, and a larger package unlocks the app again immediately. Scenes that show its widgets are skipped in the meantime, and no display goes dark. If grandfathering applies to an app you already use, it shows Stays free for you instead, with the mark Grandfathered: “Your package does not include this app. It stays free for you because you already use it.”
Marks in the portal
Locked places show a lock with one of these marks.
| Mark | What it means | Who helps |
|---|---|---|
| From Pro, From Premium | The feature belongs to a larger package. | Billing |
| Premium only | The feature belongs exclusively to the Premium package. | Billing |
| Bookable as an extra | Booked in addition for its own monthly price. | Billing |
| Not included | Your package does not carry the feature. | Billing |
| Stays free | Grandfathering: You keep the app although your package does not carry it. | nobody — everything is fine |
| Switched off | We have switched this feature off for your organization. A larger package does not change that. | Support |
| Not in your agreement | The feature is not part of your agreement. | Support |
Next to the lock is View packages, which leads to Billing. If no mark appears at all although you expect one, the contract status could not be retrieved just now, and the button stays locked as a precaution.
What a lock still allows
- What is already set up stays. A sign-in path, a key, a webhook endpoint under Webhooks, or an address set up from an earlier booking keeps working and remains fully visible.
- Cleaning up is always possible. Revoking, removing, switching off, and deleting never depend on the package.
- Only creating something new is locked — a new key, a new webhook endpoint under Webhooks, a new sign-in provider, a requested address.
A lock is not an error message and not a missing permission. If you are missing a permission, however, the button is grayed out and a tooltip gives the reason.
Booked seats
How many displays you may run at the same time is stated in your contract: Every display occupies one booked seat. The current count is shown under Billing › Contract in the Displays row (“3 of 5 booked displays paired”).
- If all seats are taken, the portal rejects another pairing: Every booked display is paired. The dialog offers Book another display, without leaving the process, or Open billing.
- If your package itself carries only a certain number, the portal says that too: “Your package carries at most 5 displays.”
- A reduction of the booked displays takes effect only at the end of the current period. If more displays are paired than booked at that point, you have seven days to remove one or book more. After that, the portal freezes the surplus ones. So remove first, then reduce.
