Apps › Discover apps

The store arranges its apps in categories and adds the video wall as a core feature. Start with the category that fits your project. The overall table at the end tells you, for each app, which identifier it has, from which package it is included, and whether it fetches data from outside.

The categories are also the Category filter next to the store’s cards and the headings in the widget palette of the scene editor, with the same names. How to search, filter, and sort in the store is described in Discover apps. Under its title, the store counts how many apps there currently are for your organization and how many of them your package includes.

Clock, countdown, and counters run immediately without a data source.

World Clock Several cities, one clock bar.

Live stream Camera and broadcast pictures live on the display.

App What it shows
Notice board The note on the door, neatly typeset instead of printed.
Scrolling Text Scrolling messages like on TV, only with your texts.

Apps for running your business, with their own data and setup.

App What it shows
Opening hours Your opening hours and whether you are open right now.
Menu board One menu, maintained once, right on every display.
Pharmacies on duty Who is on duty tonight, automatically in the shop window. The only app aimed explicitly at pharmacies.
Cloud folders for Microsoft OneDrive Your OneDrive folders in the media library and on the displays: take them over, keep them up to date, play them as a playlist. Unlocks the Places section.

The video wall: a core feature

Joining several displays into one surface is not an app but a function of the platform. In the store it therefore does not sit among the cards but appears as a tile of its own, labeled Core feature, with the title Video wall. One rule applies to the price: every video wall is booked individually, in every package, and the displays in it remain booked displays. Book a video wall leads to the Order page, and after booking, Create video wall leads to the Video walls page. How to build a video wall there is described in Video wall.

The collections

Collections group apps for an occasion. In the store they appear as a narrow strip above the cards, and a click shows only their apps. We maintain which collections exist. Two examples:

Collection Description Contains Who sees it
Ready right away “Apps that run without a data source, account or key.” Clock, Countdown, Day Counter, Word Clock, World Clock, Scrolling Text, QR Code All organizations
The shop window that keeps itself up to date “Pharmacies on duty, Opening hours and Notice board replace the printed notice.” Pharmacies on duty, Opening hours, Notice board Organizations whose industry is Pharmacy

Owners set your organization’s industry in the Master data. Without an industry, the store shows everyone the same collections.

Classes: what your package includes

Every app belongs to a Class. The class says from which package the app is included or whether it is booked separately. The footer of its card in the store shows where the app stands for your organization.

Class Meaning Badge on the card Card footer
Base class Included in every package. none In your package
Pro Included from the Pro package on. Pro In your package, otherwise From Pro
Add-on Booked on top in every package for a monthly price of its own. Add-on + … net per month, after booking Booked

The base class deliberately carries no word: a badge for the ordinary would read like a restriction. If your package does not include an app, it stays visible, and the action card in its listing states the reason, for example “Calendar is part of the Pro package.” View packages takes you straight to What do you pay for: packages, seats, and add-ons?. If grandfathering applies to an app you already use, the footer of its card shows Stays free for you, and it carries the Grandfathered badge.

If you switch to a smaller package, an installed app is not removed. It then shows Not in your package: settings and data are kept, and a larger package unlocks it again immediately. Scenes that show its widgets are skipped until then, and no display goes dark.

All apps with identifier, package, and connection

The Identifier is the technical name of the app. The store’s search field searches for it as well, and it appears in the address of its listing. The last column corresponds to the quick fact External in the listing.

If an app is missing or not in your package

What you see What it means
“The store is empty at the moment.” No app has been released for your organization yet.
“This version has been retired and can no longer be installed.” The app is no longer offered in this version. If it is installed, its settings and data are kept.
“We have switched the app off for the time being.” The app is paused for all organizations. Your settings and data are kept. It is missing from the overview in the meantime.
“This app is not in the store.” The link is outdated. Back to overview shows all apps that are open to you.
“This app is not offered to your organization at the moment.” The app is in the store, but none of its versions has been released for your organization yet, for example because it is still being tested.
“No app matches your selection.” The search term or filter matches no app. Reset filters clears the selection.
